A fitness enthusiast, Shuhui has tried various fitness forms over the years. With a keen interest in heart-pumping aerobic exercises in her younger days, she grew up swimming and played touch rugby while in Junior College. Unfortunately, a knee injury meant that she could no longer kneel for extended periods of time. After dipping her toes into several alternative activities including kickboxing, body combat, and spin exercises, she eventually stumbled upon Aerial Yoga and found that it encompassed exactly what she was looking for – flexibility, strength, grace, and peace, all while learning a new pose or flow each week without having to over-exert one’s knees. Apart from striving for gradual improvement in her own practice, she also hopes to support her students in their journeys towards greater strength and flexibility.
